What is Charme Dance AI
Charme Dance AI is a one-photo generator for a 12-second, 9:16 baile charme clip with the reference sound.
What is the baile charme trend?
Baile charme is a slow-groove street dance style from Rio de Janeiro, danced at open-air night parties under floodlights. The charme step is small and relaxed: shoulders bounce on the beat, forearms swing in front of the hips, the body leans forward as the hands slide past each other, then a side step and a turn. In 2026 a 12-second vertical clip of one dancer doing this step at a packed night party went viral on TikTok and CapCut, and thousands of remakes followed.
Is the original video real footage?
The clip most remakes copy is not a real recording. It shows Seu Zé, an AI-generated grandpa in a red shirt and suspenders, captioned "Ninguém botou fé no vovô no baile charme" — nobody believed in grandpa at the baile charme. The character is made with AI, but the scene copies the real look of Rio's baile charme parties: night crowd, floodlights, phone-style camera. Charme Dance AI builds your clip the same way — AI-generated, made from your photo.
How does Charme Dance AI build your video?
You upload one clear photo of one person and confirm you have permission to use it. The generator places that person as the lead dancer in the front row of a night party, keeps their face, hairstyle, skin tone and clothes, and renders a fixed 12-second, 9:16 routine that follows the original charme choreography, with the reference sound already in the file. You pick 480p or 720p, spend credits, and download the MP4 from My Videos.
480p or 720p — which should you pick?
Both versions are the same 12 seconds, the same vertical 9:16 frame and the same sound. 480p costs 1 credit and is plenty for feeds and small screens. 720p costs 2 credits and keeps faces and crowd details sharper on large phones and TVs. If your close-up matters, pick 720p.
How is this different from a CapCut template?
A CapCut template edits a video you already filmed: you pick clips, drop them on a timeline and adjust the edit. Charme Dance AI starts from a single photo — there is no footage to shoot, no timeline and no editing. You upload, confirm, generate and download. If you like editing, you can still open the MP4 in CapCut afterwards.
Who is it for, and what are the rules?
People use it to put themselves, friends or family into the baile charme trend, and creators use it for reaction and meme posts. The rules are strict: only upload a photo of yourself or of an adult who agreed to be in the video — no children, no celebrities, no one who has not consented. Credits never expire, and a failed generation is refunded automatically.

Frequently asked questions
How long is each video?
Every Charme Dance AI clip is 12 seconds, vertical 9:16, with the reference sound already in the file.
What photo should I upload?
One clear photo of a single person — JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 10MB. Only upload photos you have permission to use: no children, celebrities, or anyone who has not agreed.
How long does generation take?
Usually 3–10 minutes. Busy periods can take longer — this is not instant.
What does it cost?
480p costs 1 credit and 720p costs 2. Packs are one-time, credits never expire, and there is no subscription.
What happens if generation fails?
The credits for that clip are returned to your balance automatically, and you can try another photo.
How long is my video available?
Completed files stay available for 24 hours. Download the MP4 from My Videos within that window; after that the link expires.
Is this official or affiliated with CapCut?
No. Charme Dance AI is an independent AI tool, not affiliated with CapCut, the baile charme organisers, or artists.
Is the original baile charme video real or AI?
AI. The viral grandpa clip was generated with AI, and so is every Charme Dance AI clip. Neither is real party footage.
What song plays in the clip?
The reference sound of the trend is already inside the MP4. If a platform mutes it, add a trending baile charme sound in the app before posting.
Can I make a video of anyone?
Only of yourself, or of an adult who explicitly agreed to be in the video. The consent checkbox is required before every generation.
Do credits expire?
No. Packs are one-time payments and credits never expire. There is no subscription. If a generation fails, the credits come back automatically.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The whole Charme Dance AI path — upload, generate, watch, download — runs in a mobile browser. No app install needed.
